I am now in charge of the SOSI Observatoire de l'histoire de la population française: Grandes bases de données et intelligence artificielle (funded by the INSHS), which aims to help build, finalise, preserve, disseminate and use historical surveys on the French population in a sustainable way. Our project EXO-POPP (in collaboration with the LITIS of Rouen) has been selected by the French National Agency for Research for funding! In line with the POPP project (see below), EXO-POPP aims to create a database from the information contained in the marriage certificates of Paris and its suburbs between 1880 and 1940 => find out more
The POPP project (funded by Collex-Persee, Campus Condorcet and Progedo) has begun! This project aims to develop a vast database (12 million individuals) based on the 1926, 1931, 1936 and 1946 Paris nominal censuses, which are the only censuses of the Parisian population existing before the end of the 20th century => find out more
